  • All customers must BRING THEIR OWN PRINTED INVOICE or property pickup will be refused.

  • DEFAULT - FAILURE TO PAY OR SCHEDULE PICK-UP:

    Bidders are cautioned to submit bids only on items they are prepared to pay for and remove in accordance with the online sale terms and conditions of this sale. All awarded items must be paid for and have a removal appointment scheduled within five (5) business days from the posted sale ending date/ time. Furthermore, all items must be removed at the scheduled time/date of removal. Anything left behind will be considered abandoned.  Failure to pay for and/or remove all awarded items within the specified timeframe could result in termination of the contract and no refund will be made.

  • Failure to make payment and pick up property shall subject the winning bidder to the following:
     A.) In the Illinois Department of Central Management Services sole discretion, a reclamation of the awarded property and relisting of the same for public auction;

  • The State of Illinois does not allow purchasers to make repairs or to adjust vehicles on State property, with the exception of minor repairs needed to make the vehicle functional for removal from the premises after purchase.  Minor repairs may include checking fluid levels, jumper cabling or replacing batteries, tire inflation. No repairs beyond these minor repairs allowed.

  • The State cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or State employee assistance for any repairs needed to remove the vehicles from State property.  There is no access to fuel or materials of any kind at the sale site where vehicle was purchased.

  • The State of Illinois cannot and will not load any vehicles on private or for-hire trucks or trailers due to liability issues.  All loading and securing of vehicles purchased from the State of Illinois is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or their agents.

  • A Junk Title or "Junk Certificate" cannot be re-issued as a valid title, once a junk certificate is issued that vehicle is no longer considered a viable road worthy vehicle. NOTE: Bidders that do not meet the payment terms outlined herein will be charged a minimum relisting fee of $250.00 and 10% of the defaulting bidder's highest bid as a restocking fee and are subject to collection services and expenses.

All items must be picked up within 20 days of payment.  If an item(s) is not picked up within 20 days, the buyer will forfeit payment for said item(s) as liquidated damages. The Illinois Tollway reserves the right thereafter to re-auction or scrap the item(s), for failure to comply with pick up procedures as stated herein.

In the event the winning bidder defaults on the payment for the items offered herein, the Tollway may at its sole discretion award the sale to the next highest bidder.  The newly awarded bidder will therefore be bound to the terms of the sale beginning the day the new award is made.   

Tollway will e-mail a copy of the IBid bill of sale to the successful bidder.  Bidder or bidder’s agent must produce copy of IBid bill of sale when picking up an item(s).  Buyer's are required to present a drivers license at time of pick-up.

 

Pick up times for all Illinois Tollway Fleet IBid items are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM (except all State Holidays).  Illinois Tollway personnel are not responsible or expected to assist the bidder in loading or preparing any item(s) for transportation.  Upon receipt of the item (by the bidder or bidders agent), the item(s) is considered the property of the bidder and any damage or harm to the item once the property has changed hands is the bidders responsibility.

  • All customers must BRING THEIR OWN PRINTED INVOICE or property pickup will be refused.
  • All customers are required to bring a valid government issued ID / ID number will be recorded onto invoice at the time of pickup.

 

The State of Illinois does NOT provide shipping.  

It is the customers’ responsibility to bring a copy of the invoice to pick up this property.

** DUE TO LIMITED WAREHOUSE SPACE, starting 12/4/17, failure to make payment and pick up property within five (5) government working days shall subject the winning bidder to the following:

          A) Illinois Department of Central Management Services has sole discretion, reclamation of the awarded property and relisting of the same for public auction.

          B) The payment of such fees and charges including any storage, administrative or other expenses necessary to re-auction the unclaimed item.

          C) Handling charge of $25.00 per item, plus ten percent (10%) of the bid price for a restocking fee.

          D) Failure to pay and/or pick up will result in bidder banned from the iBid website.

 THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES WILL NOT PERMIT DELINQUENT PAYMENT OR PICKUP OF IBID MERCHANDISE.
