This vehicle was purchased new by the City of Champaign and used by the Fire Department.  The vehicle currently has 95,993 miles, 4,047 engine hours & was removed from service in Jan 2014 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle.  This vehicle was used as both a front line pumper truck and a reserve pumper truck. 

The exterior is in fair condition.  The frame has surface rust from being exposed to the winter climate.

The interior is in fair condition.  The driver seat is worn through the fabric due to normal daily used of the truck.

This vehicle was serviced on a 180-day preventive maintenance cycle.  It was last serviced in Oct 2012 at 94,012 miles.  At this service, the backup light, step light, & spot light handle was replaced.  Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. 

• 2014:  In June 2014, an air leak at the rear brakes was repaired.
• 2013:  In July 2013, an amber side marker light & roof clearance light were replaced.  Also, the air conditioner system was recharged.  In May 2013, one strobe light was repaired. 
• 2012:  In June 2012, at 86,226 miles, the siren control was replaced.  In Apr 2012, at 85,674 miles, the rear brake shoes & 6 wheel studs were replaced.  In Mar 2012, at 85,420 miles, the power steering brackets were replaced.  In Jan 2012, at 84,549 miles, the slack adjusters & air lines leading to the brake chambers were replaced.  Also, the fuel solenoid was adjusted. 
• 2011:  In Dec 2011, at 84,195 miles, the driver side window slide, fuel cap & fuel lines from the fuel injection pump to the fuel filter were replaced.  In Nov 2011, at 83,967 miles, door steps & both batteries were replaced.  In Oct 2011, the ground wire from the solenoid to the battery was repaired/replaced.  In Sep 2011, at 83,370 miles, the battery boxes, left door handle, primer cable, & one exterior light bulb were replaced.  In Aug 2011, at 82,761 miles, the starter was replaced.  In July 2011, at 82,602 miles, the starter buttons were replaced & the air conditioner system was recharged.  Also, the wiring connections in the main electrical panel below main power bus bar were repaired.  In July 2011, at 82,589 miles, the fuel shut off solenoid was replaced.  In Jun 2011, at 82,377 miles, two fuel lines from the fuel filter to the fuel pump were replaced.  Also in Jun 2011, the fuel tank was replaced.  In Mar 2011, at 81,727 miles, a light bar bulb was replaced & all 4 swing out compartment door slides were adjusted. 
• 2010:  In Nov 2010, at 80,156 miles, the starter switch was replaced.  In Sep 2010, the front shock absorbers, brackets, & both front tie rods were replaced.  Also in Sep 2010, at 79,867 miles, the starter was replaced.  In Mar 2010, at 78,996 miles, the fan belt & air conditioner belts were replaced. 
• 2009:  In Sep 2009, at 77,642 miles, the rear brake pads & one wheel stud was replaced.  Also, the exhaust pipe was replaced.  In May 2009, at 76,956 miles, the fuel solenoid & driver side spot light springs were replaced.  In Mar 2009, at 76,761 miles, the driver side seat belt & driver side spot light handle were replaced.  Also, the wiring for the emergency lights at the front of the vehicle was repaired. 
• 2008:  In Dec 2008, at 76,382 miles, the rear wig-wag light bulb was replaced.  In Sep 2008, at 75,869 miles, the pump primer cable & battery cables were replaced.  Also, the alternator was tested & reinstalled.  Also in Sep 2008,a t 75,840 miles, the auto eject plug & cover was replaced.  In Aug 2008,a t 75,212 miles, the siren control box was replaced.  In June 2008, at 74,381 miles, the fan clutch & pump primer packing were replaced.  In Jan 2008, at 73,033 miles, the driver side battery & onboard charger was replaced. 
• 2007:  In Dec 2007, at 72,660 miles, the thermostat, coolant filter, pump panel gauge bulbs, & low coolant sensor were replaced.  In Oct 2007, at 72,228 miles, the batteries were replaced & battery boxes repainted.  In Sept 2007, at 72,151 miles, the air conditioner system was recharged.  Also in Sept 2007, all four rear tires were replaced.  In July 2007, at 71,837 miles, both cab hydraulic lift cylinders were rebuilt.  In Feb 2007, at 70,394 miles, the fuel primer was replaced.  Also in Feb 2007, at 70,350 miles, the water pump was replaced. 
• 2006:  In Dec 2006, at 70,161 miles, the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine was replaced.  Also in Dec 2006, at 70,013 miles, the voltage regulator was replaced.  In May 2006, at 69,255 miles, the driver door linkage was repaired.  Also in May 2006, at 69,083 miles, the cab prop holder & left front hub seal gasket were replaced.  In Feb 2006, at 68,559 miles, the wiring at the throttle cable module on the left rear top of the engine was repaired.  Also, the driver side roof rotator light was repaired.  In Jan 2006, at 68,504 miles, one seat was repaired.  Also, one circuit breaker & two panel gauges were replaced
• 2005:  In Dec 2005, at 68,453 miles, the transmission drain plug was replaced.  Also in Dec 2005, at 68,457 miles, one marker light was replaced.  In Oct 2005, at 67,810 miles, the throttle cable was replaced.  Also in Oct 2005, at 67,768 miles, the exhaust system was repaired & muffler was replaced.  In Mar 2005, at 66,326 miles, the front passenger seat was repaired.  In Jan 2005, at 65,785 miles, the shifter push button controls were repaired. 
• 2004:  In Nov 2004, at 65,513 miles, the right side rear passenger door was adjusted & an air valve was replaced.  In Oct 2004, at 65,364 miles, the driver window crank was repaired.  Also in Oct 2004, at 65,339 miles, the right rear wheel valve stem was repaired.  In Apr 2004, at 64,696 miles, the driver side rear side strobe light bulbs were replaced.  In Mar 2004, at 64,641 miles, the front brake pads were replaced.  In Jan 2004, at 64,571 miles, the driver side flood light bulb was replaced. 
• 2003:  In Sep 2003, at 64,346 miles, the rear brake pads, rotors, & wheel seals were replaced.  Also in Sep 2003, at 64,283 miles, the siren speakers were replaced.  In June 2003, at 63,322 miles, the power steering system sight glass was replaced.  In May 2003, at 62,915 miles, the right rear inner tire valve stem hose was replaced.  In Apr 2003, at 62,825 miles, the master battery shutoff switch was replaced.  Also in Apr 2003, at 62,820 miles, the driver side auxiliary ball valve was replaced.  In Mar 2003, at 62,792 miles, the left inner backup light bulb was replaced.
• 2002:  In Dec 2002, at 62,556 miles, one red emergency light bulb, the heater fan switch & battery charger were replaced.  Also in Dec 2002, at 62,543 miles, the blower fan switch was replaced.  In Nov 2002, at 52,516 miles, the diode board for the PMC behind the dash panel was replaced.  Also, the right side flight light was repaired & one tire was replaced.  Also in Nov 2002, at 62,500 miles, an air valve, the brake chambers, the front air brake hoses & driver seat adjuster knob were replaced.  Also, cross braces were installed between the frame & water tank at the rear wheels.  In Sep 2002, at 61,943 miles, both batteries & one battery terminal were replaced.  In Aug 2002, at 61,100 miles, a bulkhead connector for the windshield washer on the driver side was replaced.  In July 2002, at 60,788 miles, a side air tank, fittings & left rear upper tail light bulb were replaced.  Also in July 2002, at 60,687 miles, the rear air tanks were replaced.  In mid-July 2002, at 60,482 miles, the grab handles on the truck were replaced.  In Jun 2002, at 59,892 miles, the fan belt was replaced.  In Apr 2002, at 58,618 miles, the air conditioner system hoses were repaired & the system recharged.  In Mar 2002, the rear springs were replaced.  Also in Mar 2002, at 57,758 miles, the rear center marker lights, rear brake pads, rear rotors, rear wheel seals & fuel tank straps were replaced.

• 1998:  In Dec 1998, at 32,492 miles, the circuit breaker for the rear hose reel was replaced.  In Nov 1998, at 31,780 miles, the water pump was replaced.  Also in Nov 1998, at 31,740 miles, the passenger side low beam headlight was replaced.  In Oct 1998, at 31,145 miles, the air conditioner hose fitting at the compressor high side was replaced.  Also, passenger side battery was replaced.  In Sep 1998, the right front door latch linkage & left front window stop was repaired.  In Aug 1998, at 29,869 miles, the deluge level on the pump panel, heater blower switch, rear brake pads, rotors, & wheel seals were replaced. In July 1998, the toggle switch for the hose reel was replaced.  Also in early-July 1998, at 28,779 miles, the air conditioner clutch, compressor, driver side condenser fan, & fan belts were replaced.  The air conditioner system was also recharged.  In June 1998, the foot switch was replaced.  Also in June 1998, at 28,663 miles, the front power rear view mirrors were replaced.  In Mar 1998,a t 26,437 miles, the right front marker light bulb was replaced.  In Jan 1998, two step lights were replaced. 
• 1997:  In June 1997, at 20,164 miles, the exhaust hanger assembly was replaced.  Also in Jun 1997, at 19,973 miles, the starter relay & both starter buttons were replaced. In Feb 1997, at 17,799 miles, the heater fan switch was replaced.  In Jan 1997, at 19,252 miles, the water pump pulley, belt & bolt on the low air conditioner compressor mount were replaced.  In Oct 1998, at 14,838 miles, the coolant sender unit was replaced. 
• 1996:  In Aug 1996, the hand throttle cable was repaired.  Also in Aug 1996, at 13,573 miles, the front brake pads, rotors, & wheel seals were replaced.  In Jun 1996, the batteries were both replaced.  In Mar 1996, at 9,669 miles, the left rear compartment light bulb was replaced. 
• 1995:  In Oct 1995, one headlight was replaced. 

This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois.  The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location.

The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.  We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades.
