USED TRASIT BUS FAREBOXES
Large lot of USED fareboxes and cashboxes which fit inside fareboxes. Lot contains:
*Approximately 80 stainless steel/cast aluminum/plexiglass fareboxes (manufactured by Diamond Manufacturing, Inc.)
*Approximately 158 cashboxes (Diamond Manufacturing, Inc.) which fit inside the Diamond fareboxes
*1 box of miscellaneous spare parts for Diamond fareboxes
*2 bags of extra locks
*100 Keys. There are 5 types of keys: keys to open cashboxes (19), keys to open bottom hatch on farebox to insert cashbox (20), keys to attach side of farebox to a post (30), keys to release mechanism to insert/remove cashbox (23), keys to extra locks (locks which are NOT attached to fareboxes currently) (29).
Diamond fareboxes are approximately 5 ½” x 9” x 22 ½” and cashboxes are approximately 5 ¼” x 8 ¾” x 11”.
Fareboxes are in various conditions—most are in working order, but some are not. Sold as-is. NOTE: Winning bidder must take all items in lot.

Items must be picked up within FOURTEEN (14) days of auction’s end at Madison County Transit, One Transit Way, Granite City, IL 62040. Items may be picked up between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
PAY VIA CASH or MONEY ORDER (mailed or delivered at time of item pick up), WITHIN 14 BUSINESS DAYS OF THE SALE- OR THE SALE WILL BE CANCELLED
PRIOR TO PICKING UP YOUR ITEM, YOU MUST CONTACT Stacey Cline (scline@mct.org) TO SCHEDULE A PICK UP TIME FOR YOUR ITEM. YOUR ITEM MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP IF YOU DO NOT PRE-SCHEDULE A PICK UP TIME
All item(s) must be picked up NO LATER THAN 30 days after the auction closes. If the item(s) is not picked up within 30 days, the buyer will forfeit their payment for said item(s) as liquidated damages. The Madison County Mass Transit District reserves the right thereafter to re-auction or scrap the item(s), for failure to comply with pick up procedures as stated.
