This vehicle was purchased new by the City of Champaign and used by the Fire Department.  The vehicle currently has 114,400 miles, 10,779 engine hours & was removed from service in Mar 2016 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle.  The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues. 

The exterior is in fair condition.  The frame has surface rust from being exposed to the winter climate.   The driver side cab b-pillar area (between front & rear doors) has body corrosion present.  The driver side rear compartment doors & body has corrosion present.  The driver side rear outer tire cover has 2 lug nut covers missing.  The passenger side rear compartment doors & body has corrosion present.  The passenger side rear outer tire has 3 lug nut covers missing.  The passenger side cab b-pillar area (between front & rear doors) has body corrosion present.

The interior is in fair condition.    The driver seat is worn through the fabric due to normal daily used of the truck.  The rear cab seat bottom cushion pad is on the passenger side.

This vehicle was serviced on a 180-day preventive maintenance cycle.  It was last serviced in June 2015at 112,493 miles.  Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. 

• 2016:  In Mar 2016, while removing the vehicle from service, it was found the pump engine cooler froze over the winter while being stored and is in need of repairs.  The cooler has been bypassed and refilled with coolant.
• 2015:  In Nov 2015, multiple defective lights were repaired/replaced, the pump discharge pressure gauge was replaced, & the recirculation line was repaired.  In Jun 2015, the left side hydraulic cab cylinder was repaired, the left rear spot light housing on top of the hose bed was replaced, the #1 discharge drain valve was replaced, the bleeder valve knob was replaced, 7 the front tires were replaced.  In Jan 2015, the fuel tank, fuel tank strap, fuel tank support, fuel level sending unit, fuel filler neck hose, & pip connector were replaced.  Also in Jan 2015, the throttle position sensor & connector were replaced.  In early Jan 2015, the rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, rear brake calipers, rear brake chambers, associated brake hardware, exhaust, muffler, & tailpipe were replaced. 
• 2014:  In Dec 2014, one leaf spring was replaced.  In Mar 2014, a fuel leak was repaired, a power steering leak was repaired, both passenger side window regulators were replaced & both handles were replaced.  In Feb 2014, multiple lights were repaired, one seat belt was replaced & the auto eject was replaced. 
• 2013:  In Dec 2013, the passenger side roof light was replaced, the driver side front window track was replaced, & the low coolant probe was replaced.  Also in Dec 2013, the alternator was repaired & reinstalled.  In Nov 2013, both coolant hoses to the air compressor were replaced.  In Sep 2013, both batteries were replaced.  In Aug 2013, one discharge gauge was replaced, the ladder rack valve solenoid was replaced, & one 20-amp circuit breaker was replaced.  In July 2013, the heater hose was replaced & a fuel leak was repaired.  In Mar 2013, the temperature sensor was replaced, the low coolant probe sensor was replaced, & the temperature gauge was replaced.  In Feb 2013, the ignition switch & fuel line were replaced.  In Jan 2013, the pump primer motor was repaired & reinstalled.  Also, the accelerator cable was replaced & an oil leak at the turbocharger was repaired. 
• 2012:  In Dec 2012, the front brake rotors were replaced, the front wheel seals were replaced, & the driver side battery box was replaced & the passenger side battery box was replaced.  In Nov 2012, the front brake calipers were replaced, the engine cylinder & injectors were replaced, & the left front brake caliper yoke was replaced.  Also in Nov 2012, both rear tail light assemblies were replaced.  In early Nov 2012, the light bar was repaired.  In Aug 2012, the front brake calipers were rebuilt & the rear slack adjusters were replaced.  In early Aug 2012, the front brake pads were replaced.  In May 2012, the right front brake rotor & wheel seal were replaced.  In early May 2012, the front slack adjusters were replaced.  In Apr 2012, the radiator cap was replaced, the driver side front brake rotor was replaced, the air lines & left side rear brake chamber were replaced, one tie rod end was replaced, the tail pipe was replaced, & the manual pump shift cable was replaced.  Also in Apr 2012, the left side storable light wiring was repaired & the left rear strobe light assembly was replaced.  In early April 2012, the front & rear heater control valves were replaced.  In Feb 2012, the turn signal switch & the pressure protection valve at the air tank for the ladder rack lock were replaced. 
• 2011:  In Dec 2011, the rear heater temperature control cable was replaced.  Also in Dec 2011, the heater lines were replaced.  In mid-Dec 2011, the radiator fan clutch wiring was repaired.  In early Dec 2011, the heater core was repaired & reinstalled.  In Oct 2011, the thermostat & water valve were replaced.  Also in Oct 2011, the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine was repaired & the fuel cap was replaced.  In Aug 2011, the water valves were repaired.  In July 2011, the low coolant probe was replaced.  Also in July 2011, the radiator fan cultch was replaced & the air conditioning system was recharged.  In April 2011, the driver door inner handle, passenger side light & one step light were replaced.  Also in April 2011, the oil gauge was replaced & the pump valve repaired.  In Mar 2011, the fuel line was replaced, the drag link was replaced, the serpentine belt was replaced, & a step light at the rear of the truck was replaced.  In Feb 2011, the front brake rotors, front brake pads, front wheel seals, three wheel studs, & the left front corner flasher light were replaced.
• 2010:  In Dec 2010, the cab hoist & cab cylinder latch were repaired.  Also in Dec 2010, the alternator was replaced, the regulator was replaced, & the right side cab cylinder latch was repaired.  In early Dec 2010, the front shock absorbers were replaced.  Also in early Dec 2010, the blower motor & coolant probe were replaced.  In Nov 2010, the passenger side mirror glass was replaced.  In Sep 2010, the onboard charger was repaired/reinstalled & the left front door window crank handle was replaced.  Also in Sep 2010, the fuel shut off was replaced & the pump panel light relay was replaced.  In mid Sept 2010, the exhaust tube, muffler, & clamps were replaced.  In Apr 2010, the voltage gauge & temperature gauge were replaced.  In Feb 2010, a fuel leak at the return line was repaired.  In Jan 2010, both rear door latches were repaired. 
• 2009:  In Nov 2009, the #1 & #2 discharge valves were repaired, the speedlay gauge was replaced, & the radiator cap was replaced.  In Sept 2009, one seat belt was repaired.  In early Sept 2009, the hand throttle knob was replaced.  In Aug 2009, the left rear side marker light was replaced.  Also in Aug 2009, the left rear brake chamber was replaced, the right front seat belt latch repaired, & the driver side spot light was repaired.  In Apr 2009, the arrow stick connector was repaired.  In early Apr 2009, the alternator was repaired/reinstalled & the serpentine belt was replaced.  In Mar 2009, the brakes were inspected & adjusted.  Also in Mar 2009, the 4-inch deluge pressure gauge, driver seat cushion, & front passenger seat cushion were replaced.  In Feb 2009, the thermostat & rear brake pads were replaced.  Also in Feb 2009, the left rear jump seat was repaired & the water level gauge was replaced.  In Jan 2009, the voltage gauge & two lights were replaced. 
• 2008:  In Dec 2008, the relief valve was repaired.  Also in Dec 2008, both batteries were replaced.  In Sep 2008, a fuel leak was repaired.  In May 2008, the serpentine belt & belt tensioner were replaced.  Also in May 2008, the spot light circuit breaker was replaced.  In Apr 2008, the rear differential was replaced   In Mar 2008, the front brake pads were replaced.  In Feb 2008, the right front corner strobe power supply & right side spot light handle were replaced.  Also in Feb 2008, the backup alarm was replaced, wiper blades were replaced, & the driver door was repaired.  In Jan 2008, the left side strobe light on the crosswalk was repaired.
• 2007:  In Nov 2007, the rear brakes were inspected/adjusted & the auto eject was replaced. In Oct 2007, the front tie rod ends were replaced, the injector pump was replaced, & the rear heater coolant tubes were replaced.  In Oct 2007, the left side grab rail & stanchion ends were replaced.  In Sep 2007, both cab cylinders were repaired/reinstalled, the oil line seal to the turbocharger was replaced, the injector pump was repaired & the water pump drain was repaired.  In Aug 2007, the brakes were inspected & adjusted.  In July 2007, the power steering brackets & one seat belt were replaced.  In early July 2007, the hand primer & the fuel return line were replaced.  In May 2007, the fuel connector at the injector nozzles were replaced & the brakes inspected/adjusted.  In Feb 2007, both truck batteries were replaced, the front tires were replaced, & the brakes inspected/adjusted. 
• 2006:   In Nov 2006, the serpentine belt was replaced & the brake inspected/adjusted.  In Oct 2006, one window guide was replaced.  In Aug 2006, the right front brake chamber was replaced.  In July 2006, the muffler clamp was repaired.  Also in July 2006, the ladder rack hydraulic pump was repaired.  In Jun 2006, two emergency rotator lights were replaced.  In May 2006, the right rear turn signal was repaired & the brakes inspected/adjusted.  In Feb 2006, the door window was repaired, multiple lights were repaired, & the brakes were inspected/adjusted.  Also in Feb 2006, the window guides & controls were replaced. 
• 2005:  In Dec 2005, the radiator was repaired & the low coolant probe was replaced.  In Nov 2005, the right rear door window slide was replaced.  In Sept 2005, the right rear tail light was replaced & the temperature warning indicator light was replaced.  In Aug 2005, the rear antilock brake (ABS) valves & one traction control valve were replaced.  Also in Aug 2005, the relief valve was repaired, the rear brake pads were replaced, the rear brake rotors were replaced, & the muffler was replaced.  In mid-Aug 2005, one lighted rocker switch was replaced.  In July 2005, the driver seat belt was replaced.  In May 2005, the turn signal switch was replaced & the brakes inspected/adjusted.  In Apr 2005, the fuel gauge wiring was repaired.  In early Apr 2005, the fuel tank straps were replaced.  In mid-Apr 2005, the headlight flasher module, front brake pads, & front brake rotors were replaced.  In Mar 2005, an air dryer & purge valve were replaced.  In Feb 2005, the brakes were inspected/adjusted. 
• 2004:  In Dec 2004, the turbocharger drain seals were replaced.  In Nov 2004, reflective safety striping was installed on the interior of all the cab doors & a fuse was replaced on the passenger side cab cylinder.  In Nov 2004, the front springs were replaced.  In Sept 2004, the right rear side strobe light assembly & trim were replaced.  In Aug 2004, the high idle air cylinder fitting was replaced.  Also in Aug 2004, the brakes were inspected/adjusted.  In May 2004, the pump panel light switch was replaced, one wheel cover was replaced, & the brakes were inspected/adjusted.  In Feb 2004, the right rear spring was repaired & multiple gauges were replaced.  In Jan 2004, the brakes were inspected/adjusted. 
• 2003:  In Nov 2003, the o-ring at the turbocharger return line was replaced.  In Aug 2003, the air conditioner drive belts were replaced.  Also in Aug 2003, the foot pedal throttle cable was replaced.  In early-Aug 2003, the serpentine belt was replaced & the brakes inspected / adjusted.  In June 2003, the starter motor was replaced.  In May 2003, the throttle spring was replaced.  In Apr 2003, the auto eject & the pump shift pressure switch were replaced.  In Mar 2003, the left rear wheel tire valve stem extension was replaced.  In early-Mar 2003, the front brake pads, rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, & rear wheel seals were replaced.  In Feb 2003, the rear door switch was replaced & one tail light was repaired.  In Jan 2003, the brakes were inspected/adjusted. 
• 2002:  In Nov 2002, the switch for the rear cargo light & multiple lights were replaced.  In Oct 2002, the auto eject was repaired.  Also in Oct 2002, the backup alarm & both truck batteries were replaced.  In June 2002, one emergency rotator light motor was replaced.  In Apr 2002, an exhaust leak was repaired. 
• 2001:  In Dec 2001, the pump panel lighting electrical connectors were cleaned/repaired.  In Sept 2001, both truck batteries were replaced.  In Mar 2001, the water pump was replaced. 
• 2000:  In Nov 2000, the left front tire was repaired.  In Feb 2000, two steps lights on the right side of the truck were replaced.  In Jan 2000, the arrow stick electrical connections were replaced at the control box. 
• 1999:  In Oct 1999, the air tank & air lines were replaced.  In May 1999, the oil light switch was replaced.  In Apr 1999, the right front brake was inspected/adjusted.  Also in Apr 1999, an air leak was repaired.  In Jan 1999, the alternator bracket was repaired. 
• 1998:  In Dec 1998, the shift cable was repaired.  In Aug 1998, the tachometer in the dashboard & at the pump panel were replaced.  Also, the pulse generator & wiring were replaced.  In May 1998, the water pump & coolant hoses were replaced.  Also in May 1998, the rear spot light switches were replaced, switch covers installed, & the front exterior rear view mirrors were replaced.  In Mar 1998, a fuel leak was repaired. 
• 1997:  In Nov 1997, two front side marker lights were installed.  Also in Nov 1997, the front bumper & associated hardware were replaced following a minor accident. 

This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois.  The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location.

The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.  We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades.
