This vehicle was purchased new by the City of Champaign and used by the Fire Department.  The vehicle currently has 127,434 miles, 10,975 engine hours & was removed from service in Mar 2016 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle.  The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues. 

The exterior is in fair condition.  The frame has surface rust from being exposed to the winter climate.  The driver side cab has corrosion on the body near the driver side grab handle.  The driver side rear compartment doors & body has corrosion present.  The passenger side rear compartment doors has corrosion present.  The right rear corner has accident damage present (estimated repair cost $20,000).  One of the pump panel handles is missing. 

The interior is in good condition.    

This vehicle was serviced on a 180-day preventive maintenance cycle.  It was last serviced in Sept 2013 at 94,001 miles.  At this service, the turn signal switch was replaced, cab latches rebuilt & wiring to the primer pump repaired.  Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. 

• 2016:  In Mar 2016, while removing the vehicle from service, it was found the pump engine cooler froze over the winter while being stored and is in need of repairs.  The cooler has been bypassed and refilled with coolant.
• 2015:  In Nov 2015, an air leak at the right front axle of the truck was repaired (replaced air valve & brake line).  In Aug 2015, the license plate line, cab alarm, drain valve & serpentine belt were repaired / replaced.  In Mar 2015, the coolant probe, #2 speedlay gauge, front brake hardware, & brake governor were replaced.  In Feb 2015, a power steering leak was repaired. 
• 2014:  In Nov 2014, the right rear wheel cover & both batteries were replaced.  In Oct 2014, three grab handles & stanchion ends/gaskets were replaced.  In Aug 2014, the fuel line was replaced.  In March 2014, oil leaks at the turbocharger & air compressor were repaired.  In early March 2014, the oil pan gasket was replaced, the auto eject was replaced & the radiator repaired.  In Jan 2014, the drain valve was repaired. 
• 2013:  In Sep 2013, the fuel solenoid was replaced, multiple lights were repaired, & the pump cable repaired.  Also, the rear tires were replaced.  In Aug 2013, the wiring for the rear brake light switch was repaired.  Also, the circuit breaker for the ladder rack & parking brake was replaced.  In July 2013, the tail pipe & exhaust assembly were replaced.  In Jun 2013, one backup light bulb & a window roll up switch were replaced.  In May 2013, the pump panel throttle cable was replaced & adjusted.  In Apr 2013, the rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, front brake pads, front brake rotors, front wheel seals, associated brake hardware, radiator, thermostat & related parts were all replaced. 
• 2012:  In Aug 2012, the fuel solenoid was replaced & adjusted.  Also in early Aug 2012, the air conditioner drain pan was replaced, the driver side back up light was replaced, & the right rear strobe light was repaired.  In July 2012, the backup light & oil leaks along the side of the engine were repaired.  Also in July 2012, the air conditioner was recharged.  In May 2012, the starter motor was replaced.  Also in May 2012, the right front ABS solenoid valve was replaced.  In Jan 2012, the cab hydraulic cylinders were repaired, the air lines & fittings from the governor to the air dryer were replaced, & the air lines & fittings from the governor to the air tank were replaced. 
• 2011:  In Dec 2011, both rear top step lights and one step light on the left side of the hose bed were replaced.  Also, the turn signal switch was replaced.  In Oct 2011, both exterior rearview mirrors were replaced.  In Sep 2011, the pump shift cable and one strobe light were replaced.  Also , the exhaust system was tightened.  In July 2011, the fuel tank and return oil line gaskets from the turbocharger to the engine block were replaced.  Also in July 2011, the left rear side strobe light, both rear tail light assemblies, and the #3 pump panel gauge were replaced.  The air conditioner system was also recharged.  In April 2011, the thermostat was replaced. 
• 2010:  In Dec 2010, the o-rings for all seven (7) push/pull pump drains were replaced.  Also, the pump drain valve was rebuilt and the left front tire was replaced.  Also in Dec 2010, the onboard charger was repaired/reinstalled & both truck batteries were replaced.  In Aug 2010, an exhaust leak was repaired, minor trim pieces were replaced from an accident & the front brake pads were replaced.  In July 2010, the turbocharger hose was replaced.  In Mar 2010, the deck light and fuel line were replaced.  Also, various light wiring was repaired.  Also in Mar 2010, the recirculating line to the pump was repaired & the transfer case fluid topped off.  In Feb 2010, the rear brake pads, one brake rotor, both rear brake chambers, both rear wheel seals, & hardware were replaced/adjusted.  Also in Feb 2010, the fuel line was replaced & the pump drain was repaired.  In Jan 2010, the power inverter was repaired, driver seat cushion replaced, & the officer seat cushion repaired.
• 2009:  In Oct 2009, the brakes were adjusted.  In Aug 2009, the circuit breaker for the pump panel lights was replaced.  Also in Aug 2009, the driver seat belt was replaced, a buckle stop was installed on the right front seat belt, & the right front spot light was repaired.  In July 2009, an oil leak was repaired.  Also in July 2009, the bottom heater tube to the rear heat & both low coolant probes were replaced.  In May 2009, the rear tires were replaced.  Also in May 2009, one rotator light motor, the right front seat belt & the right front window handle were replaced.  In Apr 2009, the rear emergency lighting was repaired.  In Mar 2009, the pump drain was repaired.  Also in Mar 2009, the fuel return line was replaced.  In Jan 2009, the speed lay gauge, rear heater control valve, both tie rod ends, & the pump shift cable were replaced.  Also in Jan 2009, the left front slack adjuster was replaced, the officer spot light handle was replaced & the rear bumper was repaired.
• 2008:  In Dec 2008, the pump panel electrical wiring was repaired.  Also in Dec 2008, both truck batteries were replaced.  In Nov 2008, the left rear window crank handle was replaced, an exhaust clamp was repaired, the #1 injector was repaired, the left front brake components cleaned, & an oil leak at the turbocharger was repaired.  In Oct 2008, the voltage regulator & wiring at the alternator were repaired/adjusted.  Also in Oct 2008, the right rear side strobe light was replaced & the water tank fill pipe repaired.  In Aug 2008, the driver seat belt buckle was replaced.  In July 2008, the fuel return line was replaced.  In June 2008, the front brake rotors, front brake pads, wheel bearings, hubcap gaskets, right front slack adjuster, & the dash lights were replaced.  Also in June 2008, the driver compartment temperature gauge was replaced.  In May 2008, the cab hydraulic cylinder flow was adjusted.  In April 2008, one broken door hinge linkage clip was replaced.  In Mar 2008, the pump panel water level indicator, windshield washer fluid tank, wiper blades, & pump panel temperature gauge were replaced.  Also, the steering wheel was realigned.  Also in Mar 2008, the transmission rear bolts were tightened, oil lines were tightened & the left side center turn signal was repaired.  In Jan 2008, the left front brake chamber was replaced/adjusted.  In Jan 2008, the bumpers/hardware were replaced, the throttle cable was replaced & the cab hydraulic cylinders were repaired.  Also in Jan 2008, the fuel primer pump was replaced. 
• 2007:  In Dec 2007, the low coolant sensor was replaced.  In July 2007, the right side cab hydraulic cylinder was repaired.  In Jun 2007, the exhaust system was tightened & rear brakes adjusted.  Also, the driver side front tire was replaced.  In May 2007, the brake valve & broken exhaust pipe were repaired  Also in May 2007, the water shut off valve was repaired & right front brake chamber replaced.  In early May 2007, the front brake rotor, front brake pads, & hardware were replaced.  In Mar 2007, the onboard charger was repaired/reinstalled & the rear brakes were adjusted.  In Feb 2007, both truck batteries & the ladder lock solenoid valve were replaced.  Also in Feb 2007, the auto eject cover, battery charger display, & the intake air bleed valve were replaced.  In Jan 2007, both siren speakers were replaced.  Also in Jan 2007, one light was replaced, the backup alarm was replaced, the rear tires were replaced, & a broken brace inside the driver door was repaired.  In early Jan 2007, the ignition fuse to the pump was replaced & the fuel tank straps were replaced. 
• 2006:  In Nov 2006, a coolant leak was repaired.  In Oct 2006, the brakes were adjusted.  In Sep 2006, the brakes were adjusted, the spot light was adjusted, & right rear door crank handle/control was replaced.  In Jun 2006, the ignition rocker switch was replaced.  In May 2006, the brakes were adjusted & the driver side rear upper marker light was replaced.  In Mar 2006, the rear brakes & the pump seals were adjusted.  Also in Mar 2006, the right front door window crank was replaced.  In Feb 2006, the pump shift pressure switch was replaced. 
• 2005:  In Dec 2005, the rear brakes were adjusted & the exhaust/muffler was replaced.  In Sept 2005, the rear brakes were adjusted & one tire was repaired.  Also in Sept 2005, the radiator fan electrical circuit was replaced.  In Aug 2005, both siren speakers were replaced.  In Jun 2005, the turbocharger oil lines were tightened, the rear brakes adjusted, & the air conditioner motor was replaced.  In Mar 2005, the opticom power supply was replaced, one roof marker light bulb was replaced & all roof marker light lenses were replaced.  In Mar 2005, the engine fuel shut off solenoid & relay were replaced.  Also, the right front door linkage was repaired.  Also in Mar 2005, the brakes were adjusted & the air clutch fan/hub were replaced.  In Feb 2005, the fuel shut off solenoid & circuit breaker were replaced.  In early Feb 2005, the exhaust manifold, turbocharger & air piping were replaced.  Also, the fuel lines were reprimed. 
• 2004:    In Dec 2004, both truck batteries, the fuel shut off solenoid, & passenger side low beam headlight were replaced.  In Oct 2004, the radiator sending unit, driver side strobe light, & one step light were replaced.  Also in Oct 2004, the brakes were adjusted, a strobe light lens replaced, & reflective striping added to the inside of the doors.  In early Oct 2004, the hydraulic pump motor was repaired.  In Sept 2004, the rear brake pads & turn signal switch were replaced.  In Aug 2004, the brakes were adjusted.  In May 2004, a solenoid was replaced.  In Mar 2004, the rear brakes were inspected & adjusted.  Also in March 2004, the fuel shut off solenoid was replaced.  In Feb 2004, the right rear rotator emergency light motor was replaced.  In Jan 2004, the brake pedal valve was repaired. 
• 2003:  In Dec 2003, the right rear rotator light was lubricated & the water level gauge wiring repaired.  In Sep 2003, the serpentine belts & front brake pads were replaced.  Also, the rear brakes & spot lights were adjusted.  Also in Sept 2003, the driver side seat belt was replaced.  In Aug 2003, the ECM was reprogrammed to allow the high idle & foot throttle to work with the parking brake set.  Also in Aug 2003, the cab manual pump lift valve was replaced & the right rear inner valve stem extension tightened.  In May 2003, the flasher module wiring was repaired.  In Mar 2003, the left front head lamp & marker light lens were replaced. 
• 2002:  In Nov 2002, the brakes were inspected & adjusted.  In Oct 2002, an oil leak was repaired.  In Sep 2002, the water pump was replaced.  In Jun 2002, the driver side 5-inch intake valve was repaired.  Also in Jun 2002, one air conditioner roof fan & the circuit breaker were replaced.  In Apr 2002, the air line fitting at the high idle solenoid was replaced.  Also in Apr 2002, the throttle cable was replaced.  In Mar 2002, the driver side battery was replaced.  In Feb 2002, the right side headlamp was replaced & air leaks were repaired.  In Feb 2002, both truck batteries & cable ends were replaced.  In Jan 2002, the brakes were inspected & adjusted.  In Jan 2002, the rear brakes were relined, the front brake pads were replaced & the front brake rotors were replaced.  Also in Jan 2002, the recirculating line hose fitting was replaced, the speedometer here was replaced, the tachometer was replaced, & four bulbs were replaced.
• 2001:  In Oct 2001, the alternator mount support stud was repaired.  In July 2001, the priming pump motor was repaired & reinstalled.  In June 2001, the front brake pads, front brake rotors, & wheel seals were replaced.  In Apr 2001, the fold down ladder rack was repaired. 
• 2000:  In Sept 2000, the tail pipe bracket was repaired.  In July 2002, one rocker switch was replaced.  In Mar 2000, the gold leaf decal material & striping were replaced on the right front compartment door. 
• 1999:  In Dec 1999, one step light was replaced.  In Sep 1999, a power outlet was installed at the front of the cab.  In Aug 1999, the turbocharger hose at the top of the engine was replaced.  In Jun 1999, the throttle return springs were replaced.  In Mar 1999, the right rear cab plate was resealed to prevent water leakage.    
• 1998:  In Dec 1998, the exterior rear view mirrors were replaced.  In Jun 1998, the pump panel light wiring was repaired.  In May 1998, one headlight bulb was replaced.  In Mar 1998, the right side exterior mirror switch was replaced.  In Mar 1998, the exhaust pipe clamps at the turbocharger were tightened. 
• 1997:  In Nov 1997, the pump indicator light wiring was repaired & the fuses replaced. 

This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois.  The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location.
