Three Cummins 4160 voltage generators located in St. Clair County, IL.
Two of the three generators were known to be defective and inoperable upon the discontinuation of all three generators in 2023. One of the three generators was operational upon the discontinuation of the generators, but the current condition is unknown by the seller. All three generators are being sold together in an “as is” and “where is” format and condition. The unit hours are also unknown by the seller. No refunds are being offered by the seller. The generators are 4160 voltage.

This auction consists of three generators, along with their enclosures/fuel tanks. No other parts, pieces, or components are included with this auction, except those found within the generator enclosures.
All three generators are located in St. Clair County, Illinois. The exact location will be disclosed to the winning bidder after the seller is paid. The location will also be disclosed upon any scheduled inspection of the generators.
All inspections must be scheduled with the seller in advance of the inspection. Inspections will be scheduled based on the availability and at the convenience of the seller and within this schedule (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). No generators will be run or tested during any inspection, nor will any generator be disassembled or manipulated in any way during inspections. Seller will have a representative present during all inspections.
Failure to make payment within 5 business days from the close of the sale or failure to pick up property within 10 business days from the close of the sale shall be subject to the seller’s sole discretion to reclaim the awarded property and relist the same for public auction.
Pickup will only be allowed after payment has been fully secured by seller. Awarded bidders will have 10 business days from the close of the sale to remove the generators, unless otherwise agreed by seller in writing.
Payment may be made by cashier’s check. Payment must be made within 5 business days from the close of the sale.
Upon release of the generators by the seller, the Buyer does hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the seller regarding any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever, which arise or may hereafter arise upon submitting payment for the generators and that may arise after taking possession of the generators.
In addition to the buyer responsibilities contained elsewhere in this listing, the buyer must also 1.) provide a certificate of general liability insurance for no less than one-million dollars naming the seller as additional insured, 2.) provide EPA certified fuel removal/transport for all three generators, 3.) provide an Illinois state licensed electrician for all electrical work involved in the disconnect and removal of the generators, 4.) terminate all incoming and outgoing electric to meet electrical code, and 5.) clean the site of any related debris once generators are loaded and hauled off.
Notice: Generators are being sold strictly “as is” and “where is” with no warranties, whether express, statutory, or implied. Seller makes no guarantee and accepts no liability for the condition, safety, or operability of the generators. The seller will not pay for and will not provide assistance, tools, or materials for the loading, hauling, or securing of the generators OR the fuel disposal/transport OR the electrical terminations OR the site cleanup.
