Once contacted by the Fleet Officer, the vehicle(s) must be picked up within 20 days.   If the vehicle(s) is not picked up within 20 days, the buyer will forfeit payment for said vehicle(s) as liquidated damages.  The seller reserves the right thereafter to re-auction the vehicle(s), for failure to comply with pick-up procedures as stated herein.

  • Respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes, required. Violators will be removed from iBid pickup door area and pickup cancelled (to be rescheduled).

  • Facility access restricted to iBid customer or designee.

  • Customer will not be allowed to enter the warehouse or office area for any reason. Admittance to warehouse and office is strictly forbidden (i.e. restroom visit, washing of hands, etc.).

  • Pick-up must be completed by person/persons 18 years of age or older – NO children or pets are allowed on the property.

  • Customer must call to make an appointment in advance for the date and time they would like to pick up their order.

  • Anyone showing up without an appointment will be turned away.

  • On the day of pickup, order will be placed outside of the iBid pickup door.

  • Due to contactless pickup restrictions, customers must be able to load their own property into their vehicle.

  • The State of Illinois does not allow purchasers to make repairs or to adjust vehicles on State property, with the exception of minor repairs needed to make the vehicle functional for removal from the premises after purchase.  Minor repairs may include checking fluid levels, jumper cabling or replacing batteries, tire inflation. No repairs beyond these minor repairs allowed.

  • The State cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or State employee assistance for any repairs needed to remove the vehicles from State property.  There is no access to fuel or materials of any kind at the sale site where vehicle was purchased.

  • The State of Illinois cannot and will not load any vehicles on private or for-hire trucks or trailers due to liability issues.  All loading and securing of vehicles purchased from the State of Illinois is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or their agents.

  • A Junk Title or "Junk Certificate" cannot be re-issued as a valid title, once a junk certificate is issued that vehicle is no longer considered a viable road worthy vehicle.   • DEFAULT - FAILURE TO PAY OR SCHEDULE PICK-UP:

    Bidders are cautioned to submit bids only on items they are prepared to pay for and remove in accordance with the online sale terms and conditions of this sale. All awarded items must be paid for and have a removal appointment scheduled within five (5) business days from the posted sale ending date/ time. Furthermore, all items must be removed at the scheduled time/date of removal. Anything left behind will be considered abandoned.  Failure to pay for and/or remove all awarded items within the specified timeframe could result in termination of the contract and no refund will be made.

  • Failure to make payment and pick up property shall subject the winning bidder to the following:
     A.) In the Illinois Department of Central Management Services sole discretion, a reclamation of the awarded property and relisting of the same for public auction;

  • The State of Illinois does not allow purchasers to make repairs or to adjust vehicles on State property, with the exception of minor repairs needed to make the vehicle functional for removal from the premises after purchase.  Minor repairs may include checking fluid levels, jumper cabling or replacing batteries, tire inflation. No repairs beyond these minor repairs allowed.

  • The State cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or State employee assistance for any repairs needed to remove the vehicles from State property.  There is no access to fuel or materials of any kind at the sale site where vehicle was purchased.

  • The State of Illinois cannot and will not load any vehicles on private or for-hire trucks or trailers due to liability issues.  All loading and securing of vehicles purchased from the State of Illinois is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or their agents.

  • A Junk Title or "Junk Certificate" cannot be re-issued as a valid title, once a junk certificate is issued that vehicle is no longer considered a viable road worthy vehicle. Please be aware of the title status and what these mean BEFORE placing a bid. No refunds will be made for a junk title after sale.

  • A Salvage Title or "Salvage Certificate" vehicle cannot be sold to any buyer that is not a Illinois licensed rebuilder. Please be aware of the title status and what these mean BEFORE placing a bid.

A paid receipt in the Bidder’s name must be presented at State offices, and is required to remove property.     4. Please note location of equipment is "site specific." Equipment is located Statewide at various locations. Specific address information and point of contact will be provided to the winning Bidder only at the conclusion of the sale.     5. Awarded Bidders will have five (5) business days from the close of the sale to schedule the removal of equipment, unless otherwise agreed to by the State of Illinois.

  • DEFAULT - FAILURE TO PAY OR SCHEDULE PICK-UP:

    Bidders are cautioned to submit bids only on items they are prepared to pay for and remove in accordance with the online sale terms and conditions of this sale. All awarded items must be paid for and have a removal appointment scheduled within five (5) business days from the posted sale ending date/ time. Furthermore, all items must be removed at the scheduled time/date of removal. Anything left behind will be considered abandoned.  Failure to pay for and/or remove all awarded items within the specified timeframe could result in termination of the contract and no refund will be made.

  • Failure to make payment and pick up property shall subject the winning bidder to the following:
     A.) In the Illinois Department of Central Management Services sole discretion, a reclamation of the awarded property and relisting of the same for public auction;

Pick up times for all Illinois Tollway Fleet IBid items are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM (except all State Holidays). Illinois Tollway personnel are not responsible or expected to assist the bidder in loading or preparing any item(s) for transportation. Upon receipt of the item (by the bidder or bidders agent), the item(s) is considered the property of the bidder and any damage or harm to the item once the property has changed hands is the bidders responsibility.

All sales are final and no refunds will be given. All sales taxes, tariffs, and other governmental charges shall be paid by Buyer and are Buyer's responsibility except as limited by law. This transaction shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes hereunder will be heard in the 18th Judicial Circuit Court of DuPage County.

The provision noted herein contains the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes and replaces all such prior agreements with respect to matters expressly set forth herein. No modification shall be made to this agreement except in writing and agreed to by the Illinois Tollway. This agreement shall be binding upon the parties and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors, assigns and personal representatives.

The Illinois Tollway reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to reject any and/or all bids and payments and cancel any sales considered as not in its best interest up to time of delivery. The Illinois Tollway also reserves the right to withdraw an item at any time - including during the bidding process.

Illinois Tollway Directors, officers, employees, consultants, their spouses, children or any person having any direct involvement with the disposition of Illinois Tollway surplus property may not bid on Illinois Tollway property at the CMS IBID website. Furthermore, employees of the State of Illinois Department of Central Management Services or any other person possessing personal or first-hand information regarding the condition of any item available for auction on the iBid Illinois site is prohibited from bidding on any Illinois Tollway property for auction on the IBid Illinois site

At the Illinois Tollway’s discretion, bidders may be disabled and barred from participation in future Illinois Tollway sales for any of the following:
