THE LOCATION OF THIS UNIT IS IN HAVANA, IL.

Description: 1 each 1968 American Crane 275BC with a GM Detroit diesel motor and 1 each 3/4yd Clam Buckets and 3 each 3/4yd drag buckets. The crane (dragline) has not been used for several years.  It should start with a new battery.  It is an old clutch and brake system, so anyone that wants to start it up should know how to run it. There will be staff on site when picking this unit up with equipment to load the machine on a trailer if needed.
There is 40 foot of boom on the crane now with another 10 foot boom section.  The wire rope cable is in good shape. The crane has no hour meter.  It ran up until parked at the shop five years ago.  Most of the boom sections have been rebuilt.  The main boom pin bushings were rebored 15 years ago with little time on crane since then.  The boom sheaves bushing were re-done as well.  The brake lines were changed out about the same time as well as the car body panels removed, sand blasted and painted. The winning bidder will also need to schedule a pick up time. There will be no one on site with any knowledge on how to operate the crane. Know what you are bidding on, viewing in person before bidding is highly recommended.

** DUE TO LIMITED WAREHOUSE SPACE, starting 12/4/17, failure to make payment and pick up property within five (5) government working days shall subject the winning bidder to the following:

          A) Illinois Department of Central Management Services has sole discretion, reclamation of the awarded property and relisting of the same for public auction.

          B) The payment of such fees and charges including any storage, administrative or other expenses necessary to re-auction the unclaimed item.

          C) Handling charge of $25.00 per item, plus ten percent (10%) of the bid price for a restocking fee.

          D) Failure to pay and/or pick up will result in bidder banned from the iBid website.

 THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES WILL NOT PERMIT DELINQUENT PAYMENT OR PICKUP OF IBID MERCHANDISE. ALL UNPAID/UNCLAIMED ITEMS WILL BE RESOLD AND ABOVE PENALTIES SHALL BE IMPOSED ON DELINQUENT BIDDER.
