Due to size, item will be placed outside of stadium prior to winning bidder pick up time.  Winning bidder will be responsible for loading and transporting.

Item must be picked up at Robin Roberts Stadium at 1415 North Grand Ave. E, Springfield, II 62702.  Item can be inspected or picked up at this location at an agreed upon time between bidder and Springfield Park District.  Call 217-331-2696.

The seller will not provide shipping for any items sold.  

It is the winning bidder’s responsibility to bring a copy of the paid invoice to pick up property.  Payment can be made online by credit card through ibid or by money order/cashier’s check.  If paying by money order or cashier’s check mail or bring to the following address BEFORE pickup is allowed: Springfield Park District, Attn: Doug Bates, 2500 S. 11^th St., Springfield, IL 62703.  Notify us within 5 business days of auction close if mailing payment.  After payment is processed a receipt will be directed to the email account of the winning bidder.  Print and retain this paid receipt confirmation.

The winning bidder must call to schedule a pickup time for all items within 5 days of the close of sale.  The Springfield Park District will not hold items longer than 14 days from the close of sale unless agreed to in advance.   Any items not picked up by the scheduled date will result in the delinquent bidder to be charged a 10% restocking fee plus any other expense to re-auction the item.  

*On pickup, a paid invoice (bill of sale) in the bidder’s name must be presented along with a valid state or federal ID of the winning bidder.  *

ALL ITEMS SOLD BY THE SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT ARE SOLD “AS IS,” “WHERE IS” AND NO WARRANTIES,  WHETHER EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MECHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, BOTH OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY BUYER.  NO EMPLOYEE, AGENT OR REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT IS AUTHORIZED TO GRANT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY TYPE WHATSOEVER OR TO MODIFY THE TERMS OF THIS DISCLAIMER IN ANY MANNER.

No maintenance is permitted of purchased property on Park District property and must be immediately removed at agreed upon pickup date/time.  All items purchased must be taken.

The bidder is cautioned that the presented items are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Also expect that pictures generally enhance an item and may not show all imperfections, damage or even accurate colors.

The Springfield Park District cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or employees.

The Springfield Park District cannot and will not load any items on private or for-hire trucks or trailers due to liability issues.  All loading and securing of items purchased from the Springfield Park District is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or their agents.
