Santa's House at Robin Roberts Stadium is being replaced so the old structure is for sale to any interested buyers in an "as is" condition.
Succesful bidder must provide a certificate of insurance showing Springfield Park District as additionally insured prior to removal.

Structure must be removed from Robin Roberts Stadium in the south parking lot at 1415 N. Grand Ave. E, Springfield, IL 62702. Structure can be inspected or picked up at this location via appointment by calling 217-720-5436.
Removal time and method must be pre-approved by Springfield Park District management before the day of.
The seller will not provide help in removing structure. Structure must be removed from the property within two weeks of winning bid and must not interfere with operations of the Springfield Park District. Removal of structure must be done in a way that does not damage or negatively affect surrounding property or landscaping.
It is the winning bidder’s responsibility to bring a copy of the paid invoice to pick up property. Payment can be made online by credit card through ibid or by money order/cashier’s check. If paying by money order or cashier’s check, mail or bring to the following address BEFORE pickup is allowed: Springfield Park District, Attn: Doug Bates, 2500 S. 11th St., Springfield, IL 62703. Notify us within 5 business days of auction close if mailing payment. After payment is processed a receipt will be directed to the email account of the winning bidder. Print and retain this paid receipt confirmation.
The winning bidder must call to schedule a pickup time for all items within 5 days of the close of sale. The Springfield Park District will not hold items longer than 14 days from the close of sale unless agreed to in advance. Any items not picked up by the scheduled date will result in the delinquent bidder to be charged a 10% restocking fee plus any other expense to re-auction the item.
*On pickup, a paid invoice (bill of sale) in the bidder’s name must be presented along with a valid state or federal ID of the winning bidder. *
*Property will not be released without a paid invoice (bill of sale), and a properly prepared and executed "Power of Attorney" if the named Buyer is not the party picking the vehicle up. *

No maintenance is permitted of purchased property on Park District property and must be immediately removed at agreed upon pickup date/time.
The Springfield Park District cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or employees for help in removing structure from Springfield Park District property. There is no access to fuel or materials of any kind at the sale site where structure presides.
All loading and securing of structure purchased from the Springfield Park District is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or their agents.
All awarded items must be paid for and have a removal appointment scheduled within five (5) business days from the posted sale ending date/ time. Furthermore, all items must be removed at the scheduled time/date of removal. Failure to pay for and/or remove all awarded items could result in termination of the contract and no refund will be made.
The Springfield Park District is not responsible to any Bidder or Purchaser for theft or stolen equipment.
