Item is located at southeast corner of Bunn Park at 2500 South 11th St., Springfield, IL 62703 Once paid for a pickup time will be mutually agreed to between buyer and Springfield Park District.
The seller will not provide shipping for any items sold.
It is the winning bidder’s responsibility to bring a copy of the paid invoice to pick up property. Payment can be made online by credit card through ibid or by money order/cashier’s check. If paying by money order or cashier’s check mail or bring to the following address BEFORE pickup is allowed: Springfield Park District, Attn: Doug Bates, 2500 S. 11th St., Springfield, IL 62703. Notify us within 5 business days of auction close if mailing payment. After payment is processed a receipt will be directed to the email account of the winning bidder. Print and retain this paid receipt confirmation.
The winning bidder must call to schedule a pickup time for all items within 5 days of the close of sale. Any items not picked up by the scheduled date will result in the delinquent bidder to be charged a 10% restocking fee plus any other expense to re-auction the item.
*On pickup, a paid invoice (bill of sale) in the bidder’s name must be presented along with a valid state or federal ID of the winning bidder. *
ITEMS SOLD BY THE SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT ARE SOLD “AS IS,” “WHERE IS” AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MECHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, BOTH OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY BUYER. NO EMPLOYEE, AGENT OR REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT IS AUTHORIZED TO GRANT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY TYPE WHATSOEVER OR TO MODIFY THE TERMS OF THIS DISCLAIMER IN ANY MANNER.
No maintenance is permitted of purchased property on Park District property and must be immediately removed at agreed upon pickup date/time.
The bidder is cautioned that the presented items are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Also expect that pictures generally enhance an item and may not show all imperfections, damage or even accurate colors.
Springfield Park District cannot provide security for purchased items. Once a sale is complete, the buyer assumes all responsibility for the purchased item. Removal of item must be completed within the specified mutually agreed upon date/time.
The Springfield Park District cannot and will not provide the buyer any tools, materials, or employee for any repairs needed to remove items from Springfield Park District property. There is no access to fuel or materials of any kind at the sale site where item presides.
The Springfield Park District cannot and will not load any items on private or for-hire trucks or trailers due to liability issues. All loading and securing of items purchased from the Springfield Park District is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or their agents.
Surplus Property is not tested unless otherwise stated
