NOTE: When going to retrieve the purchased vehicle, you must take valid identification along with proof of payment. In order to complete the transaction, State issued photo identification MUST match the name and address as registered on the IBID site. No exceptions will be allowed.

Additionally, proof of insurance must be provided when the vehicle is picked up. If a private party is removing the vehicle, the driver must present a valid automobile insurance card at the time of pick up. The District will make a copy of such card for its files. If a towing company is used to remove the vehicle, the towing company must provide the District with a copy of its insurance coverage upon vehicle pick up. Vehicles will not be released without proper insurance coverage. No exceptions will be allowed.  

After payment was made via credit card using E-Pay:  

1. Contact Kathy Kolinski (e-mail mary.kolinski@mwrd.org (708) 588-3366), or Larry Leszczewicz (e-mail lawrence.leszczewicz@mwrd.org (708) 588-3369) to schedule time for vehicle pick up.    

2. Bring copy of payment receipt along with proper identification (valid State I.D. or Driver’s License) & proof of insurance to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago Stickney Water Reclamation Plant  6001 West Pershing Road  Cicero, Illinois 60804-4112. Vehicle title will be given after verifying payment, identification, & insurance.  

All item(s) must be picked up NO LATER THAN 30 days after the auction closes. If the item(s) is not picked up within 30 days, the buyer will forfeit their payment for said item(s) as liquidated damages. The District reserves the right thereafter to re-auction or scrap the item(s), for failure to comply with pick up procedures as stated
